GCN in Copenhagen: Queues lengthen and oceans acidify

As the UN climate summit in Copenhagen resumes - and queues of delegates outside the city's Bella convention centre lengthen - the UK releases new data on ocean acidification.

The Oceans are turning more acid because of higher absorption of carbon dioxide. It is thought that this direct impact of emissions, rather than the warming effect of greenhouse gases, could have a profound impact on marine life.
